You grow the quality.
You should earn its value.
We work to give farmers a more direct route to buyers, a transparent basis for price and recognition for the care invested in their crop.

Our commitment
Fair value should
be understandable.
- No procurement commission
A village broker’s commission can take around 5% of the crop’s sale value, based on Haqqo’s field assessment. Rates vary by arrangement. We buy directly and charge farmers no procurement commission.
- Transparent price and deductions
We explain quality readings, weight, the market basis and each agreed deduction. Farmers should understand the calculation before they accept it.
- Same-day payment
We pay farmers the same day after verification. Market payment schedules can stretch to two to six weeks, leaving farmers waiting for money they have already earned. We record the agreed amount and payment so there is a clear record for both sides.
- A price that recognises the crop
When crops receive much the same price, better practices go unrewarded. We assess lots separately and seek better prices for better quality, backed by measurements and buyers who value the result.
- Feedback that reaches the farm
Sampling, processing and buyer feedback can show which crop characteristics affect value. We aim to use that evidence to support improvement, not simply reject a crop without explanation.
Practical support.
No advisory fee.
Our field team helps farmers think through seed sourcing, irrigation and fertiliser timing, crop condition and harvest preparation. The aim is better yield as well as better quality. This support is free to participating farmers.
Field observations, weather and available satellite readings help us follow crop health. AI-assisted tools help the team spot changes and decide where a closer visit is needed. They support field judgement, not a guaranteed diagnosis or a substitute for qualified agronomic advice.
In return, these relationships build a valuable record of practices and outcomes. With farmers’ permission, we use those records to improve our guidance and procurement decisions. Reported information stays distinct from observations, measurements and tests.
The next season
should benefit too.
We are building a feedback loop that connects milling recovery, testing and buyer outcomes back to the grower. The aim is a continuing relationship, including crops grown after rice, informed by what each season teaches us.
We do not promise to buy every crop or pay a premium regardless of market conditions. We commit to a clear assessment, agreed payment terms and a dependable relationship.
A safer crop starts
with better incentives.
Crop protection matters. Our objective is appropriate product selection, timing and dose, not pesticide elimination. Application records and qualified local guidance connect production decisions with later testing and buyer requirements.
Care continues after harvest. We require clean handling surfaces, protection from bare soil, timely drying and suitable storage. These controls reduce contamination and mould risk; laboratory testing is still needed to establish whether a lot meets relevant aflatoxin and residue limits.
